Quick summary

  • Afrobase is a photo-first compatibility app for adults 18+.
  • You must be honest, respectful, and use your own photos.
  • No harassment, hate, sexual coercion, scams, or illegal activity.
  • We can remove content or suspend/terminate accounts for safety.

1) Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter a contract.
  • We may require age verification for safety.

2) Account and profile

  • Keep your profile accurate and up to date.
  • One account per person unless explicitly approved by Afrobase.
  • You are responsible for your account activity and security.

3) Content and photos

  • Upload only content you own or have permission to use.
  • No nudity, explicit sexual content, or illegal content.
  • No impersonation or use of another person's identity.

4) Community conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate.
  • Use hate speech or fetishize based on race, ethnicity, or origin.
  • Solicit money, gifts, or immigration guarantees.
  • Use the app to advertise services, products, or off-platform schemes.

5) Badges and verification

  • Badges are positive, anonymous, and opt-in.
  • We may revoke badges if misuse or fraud is detected.
  • Some badges require verification; false claims are not allowed.

6) Open to sponsor / relocation

  • This feature is for matching intent only.
  • It does not create any legal or financial obligation.
  • Any transactional or coercive behavior is prohibited.

7) Reporting and enforcement

  • Report unsafe behavior using in-app tools.
  • We may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts.
  • We can share data with law enforcement if required by law.

8) Subscriptions and payments

  • Paid plans auto-renew unless cancelled.
  • Refunds follow the Payments & Refunds Policy.

9) Disclaimers

  • Afrobase does not guarantee matches, dates, or relationships.
  • Use good judgment when meeting someone offline.

10) Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we will notify you.
